Planet Tracker joins Bloomberg Research Portal

With immediate effect, all Planet Tracker’s research papers and blogs are freely available to Bloomberg Terminal subscribers. Bloomberg’s Research Portal is a gateway for accessing aggregated research from over 2,000 providers, including brokers, market research firms and industry associations.

BRC is the first and only portal to offer interactive, continuously updated industry research and data for business and financial professionals. It covers over 100 industries in North America, Europe and Asia from its hubs in New York, Princeton, NJ, London and Hong Kong. The industry research platform combines extensive analysis and thematic insights from experienced industry analysts combined with Bloomberg’s vast industry data, news and analytics.

Planet Tracker’s thematic industry and company research, which does not include stock recommendations, is designed to complement the work of financial institutions by helping analysts, portfolio managers, traders, salespeople, bankers and corporate managers to incorporate the impact of environmental issues that are too often treated as immaterial externalities when making investment decisions.

Planet Tracker’s Director of Research,  John  Willis, commented: “Our research is particularly aimed at the financial institutions, so through this co-operation with Bloomberg we will be able to bring to a much wider audience our analyses of important global industry sectors, which reveal the role of capital markets in the degradation of our ecosystem and show the opportunities for transitioning to a zero-carbon, nature positive, just economy well before 2050”.
